These days everyone is thinking to improve their fitness & health. The first thing that strikes our brain when we think about health is “Lets join a gym”.

To ensure you are free to go through the workouts and eat whatever is suggested at the gym, get your blood test done. This test will tell you many things like, how much protein your body can handle, how good is your kidney and liver, how much workout can be recommended, etc.

Before even joining gym or before even thinking about fitness and health, everyone must understand that using the mobile phone before bed is very bad for the health. It is the sleep that regulates hormones and hormones are responsible of what we think what we feel how we grow, how we store fat and how we make muscles. Our sex life, love life, job life, social life, anger management, stress, everything depends upon our hormones and their regulations. As mentioned in the point no. 7 sleep holds too much importance just like food and oxygen, but hours of sleep is another thing that one should be concerned of. It is said 8-9 hours of sleep is necessary but it has been observed in various recent studies that if someone has a deep sleep for 4-6 hours, it works better than having 9 hours or 10 hours poor sleep. So the point is, have a deep sleep for 7-8 hours and you will fell the change for yourself. Work on the ways to improve your sleep before even joining the gym.

Point – 9 – Avoid Stress

Stress can literally destroy anyone’s life, if someone loses completely over it. The body’s behavior at the hormonal level changes ridiculously when someone is under stress. Stress burns the muscle mass and gradually increases the fat. Human ability to look at the brighter side lowers in stress. Stress is the manufacturer of problems like erectile dysfunction, low strength, poor eyesight, low libido, poor memory, bad relations, fat around the midsection, etc. One should practice yoga and meditation, before bed or after bed to lower the stress and live a calm and peaceful life, even before thinking about going to gym.

The last point might sound useless to think about but it is not so. This point will ensure how you will do at the gym and how fast you will be able to gain muscles, lose fat and improve your shape and everything that you are supposed to do at the gym.

If someone could understand how many calories are required, how much protein, carbohydrates and fats are needed, things will become very easy and then the result at the gym will be seen in weeks instead of months.

The decision of joining a gym and improving health is a really positive thing in someone’s life but if these 10 points are well taken care, the purpose of joining a gym will be met.
